Neurodiversity Research
Qualitative study conducted through an academic mentorship with Dr. Esther Kim at the University of Southern California. Examined how non-neurodivergent high school students perceive the treatment, belonging, and social inclusion of neurodivergent peers.
Result: Conducted 15 participant interviews, transcribed responses, developed a codebook, applied thematic analysis, and created Collective Access Guidelines to inform more inclusive student events, communication, participation, and school culture.

ARC AI
Patented AI-powered robotic cooking system designed to improve meat-cooking safety, consistency, and precision. Integrated computer vision, robotics hardware, and recipe-following logic to recognize ingredients, monitor cooking progress, guide preparation steps, and reduce the risk of undercooking.
Result: Programmed and tested the system through repeated cooking trials to validate safety, consistency, and precision outcomes.

GAMS
Graph-based autoregressive molecular generation system for drug discovery integrating graph neural networks and sequence modeling.
Result: Developed a Dynamic Guided Decoding strategy that outperformed several existing approaches in QED and the proportion of drug-like molecules, published the work in Frontiers in Medical Science Research, and earned Third Place at the 2025 Orange County Science and Engineering Fair.

MemoLens
Patented adaptive digital-archive system developed using Flutter and Dart to help students document, organize, and preserve school memories. Includes photo uploads, captions, event-based organization, personalized memory retrieval, and iterative user testing.
Result: Released the system through MemoLens, reaching 100+ downloads while incorporating feedback from student users.

SR-EyeScan
AI-assisted retinal-image analysis system intended to support early glaucoma-risk screening. Applied computer vision and machine-learning methods to preprocess retinal images, identify visual patterns associated with glaucoma risk, classify image-based eye-health indicators, and analyze classification errors.
Result: Evaluated model performance on separated training and testing sets and analyzed classification errors to identify opportunities for improving reliability.
